El Halev is a non-profit organization, supporting women in the Martial Arts in Israel. We opened our first Women’s Martial Arts Center in Jerusalem in November 2003. We have recently added branches in Tel Aviv and Rechovot. El Halev endeavors to provide optimal conditions for women in the Martial Arts to fulfill their potential and to ensure that every woman and girl gain the necessary tools to defend themselves.
Behind all of El Halev’s ideals is the desire to promote the growth of women in Israel and of society at large. We truly believe that the involvement with Martial Arts has a positive and empowering effect, spreading way beyond the walls of the training halls.
